We stayed 2 nights at great location and very comfortable the location is great to get around and the room was very clean the restaurant on site had a great selection of food at a very reasonable price one thing I would say is don't snack before you eat as the portions are huge. Breakfast was great with a massive selection of fresh or cooked food. We stayed new years eve and the town was a bussle of people in great spirits a mazing place. Although we did not use the pool the kids and parents loved it and said it was very warm to be in. Tha k you for a great stay

Grounds pretty and well kept. Pool area was lovely. Very quiet considering closeness of roads. Convenient to multiple, easy food options.

The staff were absolutely amazing. We travel alot for work and pleasure and have stayed in 5 star hotels where service has been sub-par but the staff at Mercure Townsville are by far the best. We will definitely be back just for that reason, keep up the good work guys. From the front of house to the bar and restaurant, every staff member we dealt with was accommodating and helpful

I love the property. It’s around 6kms from The Strand/beach, but right next door to Subway, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Red Rooster, Taco Bells and an awesome kebab shop. The property also boasts and amazing restaurant with outdoor dining, that overlooks the gorgeous pool and surrounding gardens. Rooms are excellent. Beds and pillows are so comfy.

We liked the proximity to the shops. The cocktails were amazing. After spending a week, we enjoyed seeing familiar staff each day and staff were amazing and helped ensure we had a great and fun stay.

Absolutely loved the pool! The hotel even provided use of pool towels which can be found near the pool. The rooms are set in a pretty green setting. Room comfortable (slightly dated) but bathroom modern. The housekeeping and reception staff were lovely. Plenty of dining/ takeaway options near by.

There was a problem with the door handle but once it was brought to the Reception Personal's attention it was fixed. Breakfast was well laid out and offered a great range of choices. I didn't use the Pool but I was able to witness families making use of the Pool.

setting of the property itself with lots of trees surrounding gardens. staff were friendly and helpful. large lagoon pool was heated just nicely and the lighting in the pool at nice looked lovely.

Beautiful property very relaxing, great confortable bed, and close to shopping centre. The housekeeping did an exceptional job everyday.

Excellent stay . We love staying at the Mercure in Townsville . Everything is clean . The room was beautiful and spacious . We were overlooking the lake and had a small balcony area as well . It was perfect . We will stay at the Mercure whenever we come in from the station . Thankyou for the exceptional service .
